What Is Network Marketing? Over 15 Million People In the U.S. Alone Are Doing It…

Shouldn’t You At Least Know What It Is?

What is Network Marketing? Some love it. Some hate it. Why?

You're about to discover the truth with no lies, hype or misconceptions.

Network Marketing is nothing more than a marketing model. It's a way of getting a product from the manufacturer into the hands of the consumer.

Traditionally, companies pay big money to advertising firms to get the word out.

In Network Marketing, companies allow people that like their products to become independent distributors and get the word out.

For instance, John likes a product, he thinks it's very marketable, so he becomes a distributor.

This usually involves filling out a distributor application, paying an enrollment fee, and purchasing some inventory.

John then starts telling people he knows about the product and the business opportunity.

As John enrolls customers and business builders, the company takes the money they would have paid to the advertising executives, and instead, pays it to John for his efforts.

Most companies that choose the network marketing model, make products that are consumable or market services that are needed on a monthly basis.

This provides a huge incentive for the distributor.

Because the products/services are purchased again and again, this can equal residual income for those that put in the effort and are able to build a customer/distributor base.

Here's how network marketing plays out in theory...

You can see here in this diagram that John told a couple people, who told a few more that told a few more and wallah!

You've got a big group of people ordering product or services on a monthly basis.

If John gets a commission on all of that business, he now has money coming in that he only had to work for once.

This means, his time is freed up to do other things.

Looks great in theory but does it ever play out that way in reality?

Sort of... "What do you mean sort of?"

Odds are the business is not going to spread out automatically like it does in the diagram. If that's why you're getting in the business, you may as well go ahead and get out now.

That being said, if you're willing to put in time, effort and develop skills, you will see the business grow and you will generate residual income.

Warning: Isn't Network Marketing A Pyramid Scheme?

In the 70's, Amway successfully won a court case demonstrating that they were not an illegal pyramid scheme.

In this court case, Amway demonstrated that a key factor in determining the legitimacy of a business was that, even the last person recruited into its networks could make money.

When you compare the number of people in any network marketing company with the population of the the world or even the United States, it's clear that you'll never run out of people to market to.

What is network marketing? Well, it may be a lot of things, but a pyramid certainly isn't one of them.
